Paladins are probably 1 of the slowest gold grinding classes.
There is a protection AOE grind spec that works ok but it requires good gear and very specific grind spots such as the demon hunters ontop of BT(check the aoe section).
But for any normal grinding Ret spec is the way to go. The best mobs are of course undead. Holy dmg and lots of PVE undead skills make it a fast grind and you can even pull ahead of the other dps classes. But outlands doesnt have all that many undeads so you have to adapt to the usual spots.
Paladin DPS is pretty much straight forward and should have little downtime. Conserve mana and use blessing of wisdom when it does get low. Devotion aura is usualy better then retri due to the speed in wich the mobs die and less dmg taken means less time and mana spent on healing back up.
